BuiltItDev ("we", "our", "the site") is a free collection of browser-based tools for developers, designers and finance professionals. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect (very little), why, and how.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

  • Every tool on BuiltItDev runs 100% in your browser. No data you enter into any tool is ever sent to our servers.
  • We do not require you to create an account or sign up.
  • We do not store passwords, files, code, or any tool input/output.
  • We do not sell your data to any third party.

3. Data We Do Collect

3a. Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This collects anonymised data including: pages visited, country, browser type, and device type. No personally identifiable information (PII) is collected. No cookies are used for analytics.

3b. Advertising

We may display advertisements from third-party ad networks (such as Google AdSense or Adsterra). These networks may use cookies to serve relevant ads based on your browsing behaviour. You can opt out via your browser settings or ad network opt-out pages.

3c. Local Storage

We store your theme preference (light/dark mode) in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.

BuiltItDev itself does not set cookies. Third-party advertising partners may set cookies on their own behalf. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies will not affect the functionality of any tool on this site.
